O'Neill Europe new user A3
The driving force behind the rapidly growing O'Neill brand is
Joint Services International BV. Worldwide O'Neill is one of the
leading surf brands with surf, snowboard, wakeboard and kite surfing
collections for men, women, junior and kids.
Through a network of 12 distributors in Europe, the brand is sold
to an increasing group of sport addicted customers. After a study
at one of their distributors, O'Neill Europe has concluded that
the main benefits A3 will bring are:
- Improved forecast accuracy
in less time
- Reduced risk of unsold stocks
- Early sourcing will ensure timely
delivery
In the first phase 4 distributors will go live in June for the
selling season Spring 2005. The other distributors are planned
to do so in the course of 2004.

Article Mascot "It beats the crystal ball"
in Company Clothing Magazine
Danish workwear supplier Mascot International has implemented A3.
Michael Grosbøl MD from Mascot explains in a recent article in
Company Clothing: "Before Mascot could use its ERP system (SAP AFS,
Ed.) to monitor turnover figures, but we could not get a qualified
input to future demand per style, colour and size. We could see what
customers were ordering last month, but we are interested in what a
customer will be buying tomorrow. Since A3 has been implemented,
stock has been reduced already whilst the same service level is
maintained". At the end of the article Michael is asked if he would
recommend A3 to similar companies. He replies: "The only reason I
wouldn't, is because I am afraid they would gain a competitive

New module Sales and Division Season
planning
A3 has extended its planning solution with a new module for the
planning of a new season far before sales start, with the financial
Country and Division targets as a starting point. The Countries make
their sales plan, the Divisions make the product group & range
plan, all guided by their central financial targets. Finally the sum
of the Country sales plans and the product group & range plan of
the Divisions are synchronized. This new module is fully web based,
so sales offices and the divisions can easily work with it using the
standard Microsoft Internet Explorer. |

A3 office on the move
A3 has moved from number 8 to 8A at the Constructieweg at
Mijdrecht, The Netherlands. This small distance move means a big
change. At the new location more space is available for
presentations, training and further expansion of A3. Phone,
faxnumber and postal address remain the same. |
